[With Sample Photos] The Unpretentious Charm of a CCD Compact: KODAK PIXPRO FZ43

Hello, everyone.
Today we're introducing the compact digital camera KODAK PIXPRO FZ43.

The KODAK PIXPRO FZ43 is a simple, easy-to-use compact digital camera with a 16-megapixel CCD sensor and a 4x optical zoom. It differs somewhat from the high resolving power of the latest cameras, offering a somehow nostalgic, calm look unique to CCD sensors. Since it runs on AA batteries, it is easy to take along on trips and walks. Here we introduce its rendering and appeal together with sample photos we actually shot.

1. White Flowers in Full, Moist Bloom

A white flower shot from up close fills the frame impressively.
The glossy texture of the leaves, reminiscent of just after rain, is rendered naturally, conveying the freshness of the green.
This is a shot with the somehow simple, calm atmosphere unique to the KODAK PIXPRO FZ43.

2. Capturing Everyday Life on a Street Corner

A shot that balances a public phone booth at the center with a bicycle parking area and the surrounding scenery.
There is nothing flashy, but the natural rendering, which leaves the city's daily life just as it is, is impressive.
You can enjoy even scenery you would normally overlook as a photograph.

3. A Landscape Brimming with the Vitality of Green

A sample with a thick tree trunk and the vivid green covering it.
The plants spreading as if climbing the tree and the texture of the leaves are rendered well, conveying the power of nature. The calm colors even seem to convey a peaceful atmosphere.

4. Dynamic Cityscapes

An urban scene capturing a row of buildings in the distance together with roadside trees and a pedestrian bridge.
The cityscape spreading across the whole frame creates the immediacy typical of snapshots.
Combined with the slightly rough composition, it's a shot that seems to record the feel of a walk through the city just as it was.

A CCD Compact You Can Carry Around and Enjoy Casually

With its simple operation and lightweight body, the KODAK PIXPRO FZ43 is a compact digital camera that lets you casually capture ordinary everyday scenes.
In these samples too, from flowers and the green of trees to street corner scenes, it rendered everything in the calm colors unique to a CCD sensor.
It differs from the high resolving power of the latest cameras, but the simple, somehow nostalgic rendering is this camera's own charm.
It is also easy to use thanks to its AA battery operation, making it a camera you'll want to take along on walks and trips.
