[With Sample Photos] Making Ordinary Scenes Slightly Special: Canon PowerShot SX710 HS

Hello, everyone. Today we're introducing the compact digital camera Canon PowerShot SX710 HS.

It features a 30x optical zoom covering 25mm to 750mm (35mm equivalent).
With this one camera you can freely capture everything from wide cityscapes to distant subjects.
It also has a lens-shift image stabilization (IS) mechanism, so you can shoot steadily even at high zoom magnifications or in the evening.
Despite its compact body, it is a camera that performs well in a wide range of situations, from everyday life to travel.

1. Countless Traces Piled Up on a Street Corner

Stickers layered one over another in a corner of the city.
Though careless and cluttered, they somehow become a picture, which is the fun of street snapshots.
It captures the atmosphere and texture of the city well, giving even ordinary scenes a certain "mood."

2. A Message of the City Floating in the Light

The words "What's your beauty?" caught my eye in the night streets.
It naturally captures the light of neon and large screens, preserving the vivid, urban atmosphere as it is. It's a camera that turns even an ordinary moment while walking into a memorable shot.

3. Before Dusk, the Moment the City Grows Slightly Quieter

A shot looking down on an intersection in the early evening from a high vantage point.
Cars stopped at a red light and the cluster of buildings stretching into the distance convey the rhythm of the city. Even this expansive scene keeps its sense of depth, and the air of the city was captured along with it.

4. Vivid Colors Brought Out by Soft Bokeh

A shot in which your eye is naturally drawn to a vivid orange flower.
The presence of the in-focus flower and the soft bokeh of the background are beautiful, with an expressive power you wouldn't expect from a compact camera. Carefully preserving even the small colors of everyday life is another charm of this camera.

5. Ginkgo-Lined Street Wrapped in Evening Light

Cars driving along a ginkgo-lined street in the evening.
Even in a difficult, somewhat backlit scene, it renders the details of the road and trees well while holding back blown highlights. Even in strong light, it preserves the atmosphere of the city beautifully without spoiling it.

A Camera That Packs a High-Magnification Zoom and Ample Rendering Power Into a Compact Body

From street snapshots to distant views and evening scenes, you can enjoy it casually, so I felt it is a perfect camera for people who want to "shoot everyday life more freely."
