[With Sample Photos] An Easy-to-Carry Companion for Street Snapshots: Canon PowerShot SX700 HS

Hello, everyone.
This time we're featuring the compact digital camera Canon PowerShot SX700 HS.
Let me show you its appeal along with actual sample photos.

Its main feature is a 30x optical zoom lens equivalent to 25-750mm in 35mm terms, packed into a palm-sized body. It can shoot everything from wide landscapes to distant subjects, making it useful for travel, city walks and events.
It also has image stabilization, so you can shoot with confidence even at high zoom magnifications.

1. Light Beyond the Rooftops

A shot of a corner of a residential neighborhood.
Although the scene is somewhat backlit, the details of the buildings and the texture of the road are rendered well.
Despite its high-magnification zoom, the PowerShot SX700 HS offers image quality more than sufficient for everyday snapshots.
You can casually preserve familiar scenery along with the expression of the light.

2. Familiar Scenery

A street corner scene with an elevated bridge sweeping across the sky.
Even a familiar streetscape showed a slightly different face with the added light and shadow of the afternoon.
A convenience store sign, a crosswalk, passing cars and people.
The PowerShot SX700 HS is a camera that lets you casually preserve ordinary everyday scenes like these. It became a shot that, when looked back on later, brings back even the atmosphere of that day.

3. A Shinjuku Street Corner

A shot of the Shinjuku streetscape lined with signs of large stores.
The vivid colors of the signs are rendered well, showing off the PowerShot SX700 HS's good color reproduction. Since you can casually record the movement of people and the mood of the city, it is also recommended as a companion for travel and city walks.

4. A Street Corner at Night

A snapshot of a person sitting on a fence at the side of a sidewalk in the night city.
Taking in the streetlights and shop lights, it naturally expresses an atmosphere unique to night.
The PowerShot SX700 HS also performs well for night snapshots, letting you preserve an ordinary everyday scene in a memorable way.

The Expanded Joy of Shooting with the PowerShot SX700 HS

The Canon PowerShot SX700 HS has a compact, easy-to-carry body, yet lets you casually enjoy everyday scenery and street-walk snapshots.
In these samples too, it naturally captured a wide range of scenes, from residential neighborhoods to downtown snapshots and night street corners. It is easy to use when you want to preserve familiar scenery and ordinary moments, and it is a perfect companion for walks and outings.
I also loved how easily I could point the camera the moment I wanted to shoot. It is recommended for anyone who wants to casually record daily life.
